Why we do it
The overall purpose of the Beeton & District Agricultural Society is to serve and showcase the interests and needs of the community by being dedicated to educating and promoting agriculture and its related industries, and activities.
Our main showcase is our annual The Beeton Fall Fair, which has annually for over 160 years. Country fairs are an honoured tradition in rural Canada, and continue to be celebrated community events. Our Fair provides a place where people can visit and rediscover their heritage and community of yesterday and today.
The goal of the Beeton & District Agricultural Society is to present agricultural in a manner that is both educational and entertaining for all ages of fair goers. Exhibitors come from within our town and around Ontario to showcase their livestock, garden bounty, baked goods, crafts and more. The country fair continues to improve the quality of life in our community and Ontario by showcasing our agricultural roots and skills.
